After the resounding success of their line up of flagship mobile phones – the Ultra Edition, Samsung have followed it up with its next generation of Ultra Edition mobile phones – the Ultra Edition II. This new line up of handsets features the same elements of high class designing, albeit enhanced functions to keep up with the dynamics of the mobile users’ needs and expectations. The Samsung U600 is an intermediate model of this line up with great many modern day features and a top drawer camera module. The Samsung U600 has an uncanny similarity with its senior model – the Samsung U700 however lacks in 3G capabilities. The Samsung U600 is smaller with its dimension reading 103.5 x 49.3 x 10.9 mm and weighing 81 grams. The handset supports quad band GSM mobile networks. For data connectivity for mobile internet and such other allied functions, the Samsung U600 uses its built in GPRS and EDGE technology. Local connectivity tools includes Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP profile and USB 2.0.

High resolution camera is well complimented by all premium tools and aids like auto focus, digital zoom, built in flash, special effects and many more. Another major multimedia tool of the Samsung U600 is its media player which is compatible with MP3, AAC, eACC and WMA formats. Expandable memory card slot, together with built in memory pool of about 60 Mb makes it possible to carry quite a few of your favourite songs and videos with you.
