Need a Top Computer Professional – Check to See If They Have Passed the Certification Tests

As a business owner you are probably aware that one of the worst things you can do is to hire someone who supposedly has experience at a certain thing, only to find out that they really don’t. Rather than thoroughly knowing the subject, they knew a little bit about it and consider themselves fast learners so if in fact you ever needed it they could learn.

Great, another embellished resume and now this employee is learning on the job and you are paying for it and how. This scenario plays out over and over again in large companies and small ones too, and nothing can be more frustrating than needing someone with experience to do a job that is paramount, when you thought you had someone in-house that could handle the project.

There is probably no greater area of expertise where this is more important than computer IT skills and programming knowledge, as the entire system and company information infrastructure is at stake. But, you should know that you can indeed prevent such a calamity from happening by figuring out what computer certifications you need in your employee and which test they have passed. Ask for proof.

You see, there is a big difference between merely having a working knowledge of a particular computer language or IT system and actually being certified and proficient at it. Word to the wise, if you need a top computer professional for your company then make sure to see if they have passed that computer certification test and can prove it. Please think on this.
