Make Online Money For Free With Affiliate Marketing
Looking for ways to make online money for free, are ya? My guess is that you either have some kids that are eating your money up for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or you fell victim to this crazy economy and lost your job. And if you’re really lucky, you’re in both situations – like me! Oh yea…I don’t carry around a lucky rabbit’s foot for nothing. (Note to PETA: Just kidding about the rabbit’s foot.)
Well, I know there are many, many ways you can make online money for free, but I’m just going to talk about affiliate marketing. Because it is easy, fun, creative and it’s cool as heck (and yes, it’s also a way to make online money for free). What’s so great about it, you’re wondering? Where do I begin?
Benefits of affiliate marketing:
- No startup costs (or very minimal depending on your path and the resources you’re interested in)
- Unlimited income if you’re really good, and you can be really good you know
- No boss nagging you or looking over your shoulder (yuck, yuck, yuck!)
- Creative and analytical – it’s the best of both worlds
- No sitting in a boring, unstimulating gray cubicle not fit for humans. Work when and where you want. Jamaica anyone?
- Create information about the products that interest you
- Anyone can do it no matter how young or old
- No selling on the phone or door-to-door or any of that BS. It’s all online (oh, the beauty of the Internet…)
Downsides of affiliate marketing:

In case you don’t know what affiliate marketing is, I want to explain with an example. ABC Company sells shoes. I have a web site that talks about shoes, reviews shoes, and generally just loves shoes. I add ABC Company’s shoes, and include an affiliate link. That link is able to track when someone buys ABC Company’s shoes from my site. I get a commission when someone purchases from my site. Easy peasy!
You can definitely make money online for free with affiliate marketing. There are plenty of free courses and material out there. Two of my favorites are at TheAffiliateGod.com and BumMarketingMethod.com. I recommend doing at least one training course before you get started. You want to have a clear path of how you want to start your marketing. When I first started affiliate marketing, I just jumped right in and didn’t have a clue what I was doing. You can guess how that turned out.
What I’ve learned from these two courses is that article marketing is the best way to make online money for free. Article marketing consists of writing about topics that interest you, and in turn, helping people solve a problem through your articles. In your article, you can give tips and tricks to help someone with their problem, and then point them to your landing page for even more information.
By the way, I don’t want to knock the ways to make money online that are not free. If you’re serious about turning your life around, serious about working for yourself instead of hanging out in the cube all day doing nothing but sippin’ some coffee (oh yea, been there, done that), serious about making a (very fun) career out of affiliate marketing, then you will want to consider some tools to boost the time you start making money, and boost the amount you make. While you have to pay (sometimes very small amounts!), it’s so worth it to speed things up.
Whether you decide to use some tools or just go strictly with the free methods for now doesn’t matter. What matters is that you keep going, and you never, ever give up. Oh, and don’t forget your rabbit’s foot. http://www.MakingMoneyIsFun.info
